Je ne regrette rien

“Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable.” — Sydney Smith, English Clergyman, Essayist and Wit, 1771-1845.

Lately it has occurred to me that I may never be a National Geographic photographer; at 47, I feel I cannot safely zip-line across a river gorge.

But that doesn’t mean I can’t take photographs like a National Geographic photographer.
